Emma Gandy

Hello! My Name is Emma Gandy and I have been a pupil at the Caroline Lewis Performing Arts School since 1994 when I was 3 years old. I take part in Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop and Modern classes but have also taken classes in Drama, Singing and Acrobatics. Since 2007, I have been assisting in classes and have more recently begun entering pupils for exams as an Instructor.

Every 18 months, the pupils take part in our dance shows, but I have also had the oppurtunity to dance at Her Majesty's Theatre and Saddlers Well's Theatre in London, the Alexandra in Birmingham, and also Disneyland Paris! Each experience was incredible and it was an honour to represent the school at such amazing places and share them with the pupils including my sister, Eleanor and cousin, Kim, who have also been at the dance school since they were 3 years old.

The standard that is delivered has gone from strength to strength and I have seen the school grow into the outstanding establishment it is today. The school provides the highest quality standard of teaching such that 100% pass rate in exams is always achieved but also welcomes a fun, safe learning enviroment.

This year I will be taking my SDDA Tap exams and I wish to further this by taking a teachers diploma. Aside from dancing, I am about to finish my 3rd and final year at the University of Wolverhampton with an honours degree in Forensic Science. I shall be graduating in September this year. I also enjoy cross-stitching, going to cinema and shopping!

Keep Dancing! xxxxxxxxxx
